Plant-based, low-histamine cooking from a small garden and a tender gut.
I’m trying my best to manage my Long COVID symptoms in whatever ways help.
There’s no such thing as a perfect sick person.
And truthfully, few of us share the same symptoms, let alone find the same foods or routines that actually help.
I follow a mostly plant-based, low-histamine diet—not because I love restriction, but because it helps keep my symptoms manageable. That said, I occasionally make space for a soft cheese, a fish taco or chips and salsa.
I’m not aiming for perfection—I’m aiming to keep my histamine bucket low, eat as normally as I can, and heal my gut along the way.
This isn’t a primer on Histamine Intolerance. It’s a day-to-day resource for living with a low-histamine diet, built from my own trial and error.
